From RFQ to Completed Audits in Six Days: How ReNEW Speeds Up Supplier Onboarding

Written by ReNEW Manufacturing Solutions | 10/21/26, 3:53 PM

When you need a new manufacturing supplier, you often need one fast. A product launch, a quality problem at an existing supplier, or a push to diversify your supply chain can all put you on a deadline. But supplier onboarding can take weeks of paperwork, audits, and follow-up, and every delay lands on your production schedule.

As your build-to-print contract manufacturing partner, ReNEW Manufacturing Solutions removes as much of that friction as we can. We respond quickly at every step because we want to be the easiest manufacturer to do business with. Learn how that works in practice, including a recent project where a large OEM went from RFQ to completed quality and operations audits in six days.

Audit-Ready Every Day, So Audits Never Cause Delays

At many manufacturing facilities, a customer visit or supplier audit sends everyone into emergency cleanup mode just to get ready. If a shop needs an all-hands effort to be presentable, that’s a red flag.

ReNEW operates as if a customer or auditor could walk in at any time. Organization and cleanliness are built into our daily process, and that discipline supports the certifications and registrations we maintain: AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, and ITAR. Standards like these demand constant attention to detail, not a once-a-year cleanup.

The result is that prospective customers can schedule an evaluation quickly, and what they see is an accurate picture of how their project will be handled in our facilities.

Fast Answers From the First Click

Supplier onboarding starts well before a PO. First, your team has to decide whether a manufacturer is a possible fit for your project. We make that easy to answer on your own, without waiting on a call:

See the equipment. Browse our equipment list to confirm we have the machines your parts require.

Walk the floor from your desk. Take a virtual tour of our facilities before scheduling an in-person visit.

Understand our latest thinking. Read our blog for news and insights.

When you’re ready to move forward, contact our team or submit your project through our RFQ portal. We aim to respond to every RFQ within 24 hours, and we average about nine hours.

After a quote is accepted, speed matters even more. Supplier approvals can involve legal paperwork, credit checks, quality documentation, references, and other customer-specific requirements. We turn these around as fast as we can so that ReNEW is never the bottleneck.

Customer Example: RFQ to Completed Audits in Six Days

A recent project shows how quickly onboarding can move when a customer has an urgent need. A large OEM contacted ReNEW about an expedited project. We had never made parts for them, so they needed to onboard us as a new supplier at the same time.

Wednesday: The customer submitted an RFQ, and we returned a quote that same day.

Thursday: The customer confirmed the pricing and committed to issuing a purchase order and begin supplier onboarding. Based on that commitment, ReNEW ordered material right away so production could start as soon as approval was complete.

Friday: We returned the customer’s onboarding documents, including banking details and corporate structure. The material also arrived that day.

Monday: The customer performed its quality audit.

Tuesday: The customer conducted its operations audit.

Thursday: The customer sent over the PO.

The Following Friday: The parts were manufactured and sent to the customer.

Not every onboarding moves this quickly, and every customer has different requirements. But when timing is critical, ReNEW is prepared to match your pace.
